Current Job Opportunities

Level I (Tier I) IT Technician

Asset Technology Group, Inc. is looking to hire a Level I Technician to assist with Help Desk service calls. In this position, you will handle troubleshooting and maintenance, and support a team of technicians. We value our employees; your voice will have input and influence towards the company’s direction.

You should:

  • Be well versed in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Microsoft Windows desktop and server operating systems
  • Be able to provide input on projects and assignments.
  • Have energy and the desire to work in a fast-growing company that presents new challenges every day with hardware, software, and other diverse technology
  • Be a motivated, organized person with a positive attitude and an innovative spirit
  • Exhibit a willingness to learn and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Be able to speak to end users in non-technical terms (no geek speak)

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Respond to service calls promptly
  • Troubleshoot problems quickly and effectively
  • Always provide an exceptional customer service experience
  • Provide end to end desktop and network support for our clients
  • Carefully and completely document work
  • Prioritize daily tasks and achieve due dates
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with all staff members, including the CEO

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • 1 year experience in Information Technology
  • Server administration experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2012, 2016, and 2019 (preferred)
  • Desktop support for Microsoft Windows 7, 10, and 11
  • Experience with Hyper-V (preferred)
  • Ability to troubleshoot a variety of IT related issues in a business network environment (Including, but not limited to, Microsoft Windows Server & Desktop OS, Microsoft Office & Office 365, Network, VOIP, Internet issues, Peripherals, equipment at client locations)
  • Special consideration will be given to applicants with technical certifications

Job Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s license with good driving record
  • Able to pass a background check
  • US Work Authorization required
  • Duties may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours
  • Ability to lift standard computer equipment (PCs, Printers, etc)

IT Service Manager

Asset Technology Group, Inc., a Managed IT Services firm (MSP), is looking to hire an IT Service Manager with management skills, team-player attitude, and the ability to communicate effectively. We emphasize a commitment to customer service, integrity, reliability, and willingness to work as a team.  Some major qualities needed for success on the job include management, computer, and analytical skills.

  • Possess the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with our team of IT professionals

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Develop and maintain client relationships; Uphold a sense of customer service and measure client satisfaction
  • Design and manage projects for the team, creating timelines and assigning technicians
  • Oversee the hiring and training of IT technicians
  • Manage and assess the performance of the technical team; supervise activities of technical team to ensure exceptional customer service is conducted
  • Establish goals for the technicians, tracking performance, progress, and other metrics
  • Coordinate troubleshooting, support, and service for networks/clients; As Service Manager, you will ensure that support tickets are assigned to a technician and completed in a timely manner with complete problem resolution
  • Must be willing to assist technicians in solving tickets, troubleshooting and other operational problems with clients
  • Ensure the availability of required hardware and software; management and maintenance of inventory
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with all staff members
  • Perform client IT infrastructure audits and create solutions for implementation and proactive management
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technical operations by completing required and recommended certifications pertinent to the job

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ experience in IT Management
  • 5+ years technical experience
  • Computer and Network Skills: Server administration experience, Windows knowledge and configuration experience, MS Office Suite and Office 365 deployment experience, Firewall experience, Skills with MS Exchange, virtualization, and remote access is a plus, Knowledge of VoIP systems and telephony systems is desired
  • Education: College diploma in computer science, engineering or information systems is desired. Possessing certifications from recognized institutions also increases job prospects.
  • Management skills: Ability to coordinate the operations of the technician team and to achieve set objectives
  • Valid driver’s license with good driving record
  • US Work Authorization required
  • Duties may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours
